Updates & versions
How Multilo updates itself, how to check which version you're on, and how indexing finishes safely when you close the window.
Multilo keeps itself current so you don’t have to think about it. Here’s how updates and versioning work.
Automatic updates
The desktop app checks for updates in the background and installs them automatically, so you generally stay on the latest build. When an update is ready it applies on the next restart — no manual download, no reinstall.
Checking your version
Open Settings → Aboutto see the version you’re running. If you ever need to confirm a fix shipped, match the version against the release notes.
Indexing on close
When you add sources, Multilo builds an on-device search index in the background. If you close the window while indexing is still running, the app finishes the work quietly and then exits — so closing the window never leaves a half-built index, and there’s never a stray hidden process left behind.
Your index is per-project
The index lives inside each project’s.multilo/ folder and travels with it. See the .multilo/ folder.Release notes
Every shipped feature, improvement, and fix is published in the changelog. See release notes for ways to follow along.
