Slash commands
Every slash command available in chat, what it does, and when to use it.
Slash commands are quick actions you run from chat. They’re the fastest way to trigger a specific capability without describing it in prose.
Running a command
Type / in chat to open the command list, then pick one or keep typing to filter. Commands run in the context of your active project and document.
Creating an agent
/createagent designs and saves a custom agent from a plain description — any chat model can author one for you. See custom agents.
Discovering commands
The set of commands available depends on your build and any extensionsyou’ve installed (extensions can contribute their own). The reliable way to see the full, current list is to type /in chat — it always reflects exactly what’s available to you right now.
Prefer plain language when unsure
You don’t have to memorize commands. Describe what you want and chat routes it to the right action; reach for a slash command when you know exactly what you want.
