How Multilo works

Multilo is a local-first desktop app. Your files live on your machine in a project — a folder that holds your draft, your library of references, your notes, and your data. Agents see the whole project as context, not just the open paragraph, so they can write with your sources, check your citations, and keep long documents consistent.

Open a Microsoft Word .docx and Multilo parses its structure — headings, lists, tables, footnotes, in-text citations — and renders it as clean, AI-native Markdown the model can reason about. Save back to .docx and your supervisor sees a Word document with your edits applied, never Markdown. The cloud is used only when an agent needs to call a model; everything else stays on your machine.
