Core concepts
The four ideas everything else builds on: projects, documents, agents and chat, and credits and models.
Four ideas underpin everything else in Multilo. Once they click, the rest of the app follows naturally.
Projects
A projectis a folder on your machine that holds the work for one piece of writing — your draft, your library of sources, your notes, and your data. It’s the unit of context: agents can see the whole project, not just the open paragraph, so they write and cite with everything you’ve gathered. See your first project.
Documents
Your documents — Microsoft Word .docx, Markdown, LaTeX, and plain text — are first-class files, not text pasted into a chat. Multilo renders them in an AI-native editor and saves back to their original format with structure intact. See the editor and working with Word.
Agents & chat
Chat is the command surface, and agents are focused specialists you run on your document — drafting, citation-checking, language polish, and more. Both read and edit your real document directly. See agents overview.
Credits & models
AI work is metered in credits, and you can choose which model an agent uses — a fast model for quick passes, a premium one for harder work. The free tier includes monthly credits. See credits and models.
