Chat (command surface)

Chat is the command center: slash commands, @-mentions, attachments, delegating whole-document jobs to agents, and being asked to choose.

Chat is the command center of Multilo. It reads and edits your real document, runs agents, searches your project, and answers questions — all in one place, the way a code editor’s command palette drives everything.

Slash commands

Type / to run a command — create an agent, start a draft, and more. See the full list in slash commands.

/createagent design a custom agent from a description
/draft start a full draft from a topic

Mentions

Use @ to point chat at a specific file or source in your project, so its answer is grounded in exactly the material you mean.

Attachments

Attach documents to bring them into context. Multilo reads the text of PDFs and Office files, sees images, and transcribes audio and video — so you can ask about almost anything you drop in. See media & images.

Delegating & asking

For a whole-document job, chat can hand the work to an agent — for example routing a long write to the Full Draft Writer — with a confirmation step so it runs on the right project. And when an agent needs a decision, it can pause and ask you to choose rather than guessing.

Chat is capability-aware

You don’t have to know which tool to use. Describe what you want and chat routes it to the right agent, search, or edit.
